Attributable Armed Forces Pension Scheme Benefits
If you are currently receiving Attributable Armed Forces benefits as a result of being medically retired or in respect of the death of a spouse / civil partner, where the cause of invaliding or death is deemed attributable to military service those benefits could be affected if you receive Compensation. The amount of attributable benefits received could be reduced or stopped however, you would always be entitled to receive your Service Invaliding Pension or Family Forces Pension.
Compensation could be paid from the MOD. a third party or from Criminal Injuries. If you have received or do receive at some point in the future any such compensation you should report the full details to SPVA at Mail Point 600, Kentigern House, 65 Brown Street, Glasgow, G2 8EX.
